Elias is a founding member of Belfast Ensemble.  Originally from Belfast, he trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has made Scotland his home.   

A member of the Orchestra of Scottish Ballet, Elias has also worked with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, English National Opera , RTE Concert Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra. He has played the solo cello part on Hamilton, The King and I, My Fair Lady and Matilda as well as on various film soundtracks for Warner Bros and Netflix. Outside of classical music he has performed and recorded with artists such as Evanescence (Synthesis World Tour), Ronan Keating, Katherine Jenkins, Belle and Sebastian, Foy Vance and Jessie Buckley.
